Prof. Hassan Ouda wrote a new book titled 'Long-Term Financial Sustainability Accounting and Reporting in the Public Sector,' Publisher Routledge- September 26, 2024. The book addresses a longstanding issue that emerged fifty years ago and continues to persist – the lack of an accounting and reporting system for financial sustainability.

The German University in Cairo (GUC) organized a five-hour workshop titled "AI Unleashed" in collaboration with Microsoft. Led by Dr. Ahmed Wahby, Dr. Sara El-Deeb, and Dr. George Fahim from faculties of Applied Arts and Management, the aim was to explore and educate about artificial intelligence, which even though is decades old, it is considered the new oil in this century.
The German University in Cairo welcomed a delegation from the University of Magdeburg – Germany. The delegation is led by Prof. Dr. Klaus Turowiski, who heads one of the largest and most renowned business Informatics schools in Germany, called The Magdeburg Research and Competence Cluster (MRCC). The MRCC is concerned with the development, the application, and the operation of Very Large Business Applications (VLBAS).
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with Cooperation of the department of Accounting and Finance at The Faculty of Management Technology organized a student competition in accounting and auditing.
Emerald Publishing has given a series of awards to several researchers at the Faculty of Management Technology. Emerald also recognized the great achievements of Management & Sustainability: An Arab Review (MSAR Journal), which is the first international publication catering to sustainability and management in Arab Communities. The editorial team of the journal was honored, including Prof. Dr. Noha El-Bassiouny, as the founding editor and Dr. Heba Ali, the Associate Editor.
In the Workshop by Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA), delegates from ECA explained to students the importance of market competition in having an efficient economy.
