The "Training Workshop Equity Valuation” was hosted over 4 days for the second round at the German University in Cairo – GUC. The 12-hours workshop was planned and organized by Assoc. Prof. Mona ElBannan, and provided by Mr. Amr Hussein Elalfy, MBA, CFA. The workshop helps students master necessary skills needed to pursue a career in finance after graduation, and is highly recommended for students who consider applying for CFA certification.
Mr. Amr Hussein Elalfy, MBA, CFA, is the Head of Research at SHUAA Securities Egypt. He is CFA charterholder, former President & currently Secretary-General of CFA Society-Egypt. Received BBA in Finance, City university of New York, & MBA from American University in Cairo. He has 20+ years of experience in capital markets where he worked at King Street Capital Management-New York, Prime Securities-Cairo, CI Capital Holding-Cairo, & Mubasher Financial services-Cairo.
The sessions were very informative, and students acknowledge that they benefited very much and learn practical valuation methods that enhance their financial skills.
The closing Ceremony for the training workshop was held on 3rd of December 2019, the last day of the workshop, where all students who attended the 12 hours received a certificate of attendance.
